Working Papers
During the triennial ICAO Assembly, IFATCA can submit Working Papers to the different Commissions to raise concerns and bring attention to topics of interest for the Federation. This can also be done jointly with other International Organizations such as IATA, IFALPA, etc.

Liaison Officer to the ICAO ANC
The Liaison Officer to the ICAO ANC comments on work programme items, on the adoption of Job Cards, attends all ANC Session meetings, is present during preliminary and final reviews, coordinates State Letter responses for the Federation and liaise with all ICAO Representatives of the Federation and from other International Organizations.

IFATCA Representation
IFATCA is present at ICAO high level meetings such as the Assembly, the GANIS and SANIS, RPAS Symposia, Regional Safety Symposia, NGAP Global Fora, and many more. During those events, the Federation share its concerns with other stakeholders of the industry, present Working Papers and/or is invited to speak on certain issues.

ICAO Representatives
IFATCA ensures that all areas of interest to the Federation are covered by the means of Panel Representatives. They attend Panel meetings, get involved in Working Groups, present working papers, raise concerns and voice the Federations's opinion and policies and liaise as needed with TOC, PLC and the Liaison Officer to the ICAO ANC.

IFATCA Representation and Working Papers
IFATCA is represented during ICAO Divisonal Meetings, such as the Air Navigation Conference. Similarly to the ICAO Assembly, the Federation present Working Papers either on its own or jointly with other International Organizations on subjects of interest for the Federation.

ICAO Representatives
When ICAO elects to establish Advisory Groups, Study Groups and Task Forces, the Federation has the possibility to join them to voice the opinions and policies of the Federation. For example, IFATCA is represented on NGAP and on the UASAG.

Raise concerns directly
The Liaison Officer to the ICAO ANC and ICAO Panel Representatives maintain open channels with Technical Officers of the Secretariat. Whether it is to discuss special events or raise specific concerns, the Federation values an open dialogue with all ICAO personnel and stands ready to assist ICAO whenener needed.

Preliminary and Final Reviews
Once a Proposal for Amendment (PfA) is ready, it is presented to the ANC,; the Liaison Officer to the ICAO ANC will take part in the preliminary review. Similarly, after the PfA has been sent out to States and International Organizations for consultation in a State Letter, the LO ANC will participate in the final review to address comments that were received.

IFATCA's comments to Proposals for Amendment
After the preliminary review of a PfA has been conducted by the ANC, it is sent out to States and International Organizations for comments in an ICAO State Letter. IFATCA has the opportunity to comment on these proposals. This process is under the perview of the LO ANC, who will coordinate with ICAO Representatives and other IFATCA experts, as appropriate.
