Fateh has held several Air Traffic Control specialist post, having worked in aviation since 2004. He started his career as an Air Traffic Controller at Algiers International Airport, where he was promoted to ATC Watch Manager in 2019. In addition to his tower rating, he obtained approach procedure and radar ratings in 2008.

In 2017, Fateh was elected as IFATCA Executive Vice President for Africa and the Middle East. As such, he participated and worked with other international organizations such as ICAO, IATA, CANSO, IFALPA, and ITF in different summits, meetings, and working groups.
