Executive Vice-President Europe - Patrik Peters |
As the Executive Vice-President Europe I am responsible
for the liaison between all 46 European
membership associations and the federation. Furthermore I
oversee the activities in this region and coordinate the
European Support Team, a team of IFATCA representatives
attending workshops, consultation meetings and conferences
held by major international organisations and agencies. I
assist associations by providing information and advise when
required.
I started my career as an ab-initio student with the
Eurocontrol Agency in 1990. Currently I hold the position of
a Deputy Supervisor and Examiner in the Upper Area Control
Centre in Maastricht/The Netherlands.
My engagement in professional association work began in
1995 when I joined the Executive Board of EGATS – the
Eurocontrol Guild, as their membership secretary. Holding
different positions in the subsequent years, I was elected
President between 2001 and 2006. I finished my last term in
March 2007 as Vice-President. I attend IFATCA conferences
since 1995 and became increasingly involved in the last 4
years. I was elected EVP Europe in Kaohsiung in 2006 for a
term of 2 years.
I am a German national and live in Aachen/Germany and
partially in Nyköping/Sweden. Contact
