Mr Ignacio Oliva Whiteley was elected Executive Vice President Americas (EVP AMA) at the Annual Conference at Amman, Jordan in April 2011 and is responsible for coordinating all activity within the Americas region of the Federation.

Mr Whiteley has been an air traffic controller since 1994 and has en-route (procedural and radar), radar approach and TMA experience. He currently works at the Ezeiza ACC, Buenos Aires. His ICAO Level 4 English Language Proficiency assists with his other role as an English phraseology instructor and radar instructor at CIPE (National Training Centre in Buenos Aires). He has been studying Air Traffic Management for 4 years.

Mr Whiteley joined ACTA Argentina in 2000 and since then has assisted at several IFATCA meetings.

Ignacio´s main objective as EVP AMA is to enhance motivation within the region member associations to continue working towards the Federation and also representing IFATCA in Seminars, Workshops and different events of interest.
