Conference Executive - Philippe Domogala |
Philippe
is a French national,who
is married with 3 children.
He is a member of
EGATS - the Eurocontrol Guild.
He spent
most of his
career as a radar air traffic
controller in the Eurocontrol
Maastricht Upper Airspace
Centre in the Netherlands, first as a Radar Controller, then
as a Centre Supervisor. He retired
from operational duties in 2005 and now works on various
safety related projects. Philippe is also a
pilot, current on most
single engine types and gliders. He
still fly his own motor glider around Europe.
Philippe has
been involved in IFATCA since 1976,
serving as
IFATCA Regional Vice
President Europe from
1986 to 1990, and was then the
IFATCA representative
in various ICAO and
Eurocontrol groups such as FANS II, EATMS, FLOW, etc.
He represented IFATCA in
the IFALPA ATS committee for many years before
becoming the Editor of The Controller magazine (
www.the-controller.net)
from 2005 to 2010.
Philippe took over
the position of Conference Executive within the Executive
Board in 2010.
